St Kevin's College Sports & Aquatic Centre, Toorak

The Wilding Centre is a new indoor sports and aquatic centre incorporating a 25 metre 8 lane indoor swimming pool with tiered spectator seating, a 2 court basketball stadium, and weights training area with associated change, and staff areas.

Built on the 100 year flood plain of the Yarra River all activity spaces except the swimming pool in the 3 storey structure, are elevated on concrete columns providing undercover carparking and storage.

Environmental initiatives are expressed in the building's extensive sunshading and natural ventilation devices to windows. Aluminium anodised prefinished panels enclose the facade between glass curtain walls providing natural light throughout.
