Horsham Leisure & Aquatic Centre

The redevelopment of the new indoor leisure and aquatic centre overlooking the existing 50 metre outdoor pool incorporated an innovative design and environmental initiatives of double glazing, solar heating and rainwater harvesting.

Indoor pools include a 25 metre 8 lane pool, program/leisure pool with disability access. The existing recreation hall and dance studio were refurbished with new facilities of gymnasium and creche. A central circulation gallery opens to both indoor and outdoor cafe/kiosk and courtyard areas.

Articulation of the building's facade through expression of varying forms and materials provides a contemporary example of sustainable recreational architecture.
