Aquarena Aquatic & Leisure Centre, Doncaster

Aquarena for the community of Doncaster and Templestowe includes an indoor 25 metre 8 lane swimming pool, learners pool, toddlers pool, spa, sauna and steam room which support the existing 50 metre outdoor swimming and diving pools.

Gymnasium and programme areas for aerobics and other classes are separated from the swimming pool area by central change areas with control/staff areas and cafe/kiosk for patrons. The facility is designed to allow future expansion of the gymnasium and programme areas. Aquarena is expressed as a series of curved roof forms floating above full height glazed walls to allow views of patrons activity from the entry and carpark areas.
