St George's Hospital, Kew

Normanby House, a 20 bed aged care admissions and assessment unit located on the former carpark of St. George's Hospital is accessed from Normanby Road.

The single storey facility located north of the existing Hospital consists of 3 radial residential bedroom and living area wings, overviewed from a central staff base. The final radial segment of the design plan form is the reception, admissions and assessment, ECT suite, client accommodation areas, administration and shared facilities.

The project's architectural expression is initiated from the central circulation atrium raised roof and four radiating pitched roof elements of residential scale and materials to integrate with the surrounding environment.
