St Catherine of Siena Church Caroline Springs

A new parish church serving a growing congregation, co-located with a secondary college and presbytery.

Completed in 2013 with project cost of $4.2m and a seating capacity of 500 with overflow space for an additional 100.

The semi-circular plan is made up of 13 segments with 14 Columns for the Stations of the Cross. Two of the Segments form the Liturgical Axis (Path of Initiation) and the Devotional Axis (Focusing on the Marian Shrine).

A Full Immersion Font is located on the Liturgical Axis adjacent to the entry doors which requires the congregation to pass by as they enter and leave the church.
